Hmm hi, hello. Remember me? 😅 It’s been almost 2.5 years since my last post. I’ve been itching to write so here I am, two days away from turning 40!

I’m turning 40!!! Who would’ve thunk it. So many updates since my last blog when we were almost celebrating our one year wedding anniversary. We’ve now celebrated 3 anniversaries and surprise, we have a 2-year-old! Life has been grand with my little family! My husband is my best friend and my little mamas keeps me on my toes!

Life’s been a rollercoaster since the last update! Last year, I was depressed and anxious and wanted to quit my job. I wanted to stay home. I went back to therapy. This year I got a slight promotion, something that’s been on my vision board for a while too! This year I love my job and have no plans to quit anytime soon! The Dodgers won the World Series and we went to Game 6 of the NLDS, where we watched the Dodgers clinch the World Series! We went to Game 2 of the World Series and had a blast! Celebrated them becoming champions with my family, and I attended the Dodgers parade with my sister and college friend! Created some core memories and I’m so damn happy!

I’m just in a gratitude state of mind as I near this big milestone birthday! I was feeling mixed emotions but also pretty proud of myself for how far I’ve come. Younger me for sure never imagined being married and a mother of a 2-year-old at this age, but here we are, and it’s been amazing! As I put her in her crib earlier this evening, I said out loud, “Who would have thought I’d be turning 40 with a 2-year-old, but you chose mama at the perfect time, huh?” And as she giggled as I placed her down, she said, “Yes!” I’m taking her yes in her sweet little voice and know that everything happens for a reason and happens when it’s supposed to happen.

I’m grateful for all that I’ve accomplished, and looking forward to manifesting some other goals I have! Cheers to 40! Cheers to hopefully updating more often because it’s nice to be able to look back on my life and my thoughts even if no one else is reading.
