I’m just going to jump into the updates that I promised like six months ago! Oof! 😅 Almost a year ago, on July 17, 2021, I married the love of my life and it was beautiful in every way. We got married at my childhood church, which was not where I originally had wanted to have the ceremony, but I’m actually glad that it happened there as it has more meaning to me and now my husband.
When we had gotten engaged, we decided to plan for a smaller wedding in order to not have to cancel it in case COVID surged (how ironic? that the mask mandate was put back in place on the night of our wedding). I will admit I was a bit sad at first that we wouldn’t be able to invite everyone we wanted to. We had a guest list of 80 with our family and some of our closest friends and our reception was in our backyard (we decided to invest money in fixing up the landscaping to our house so that we could have the reception there, and obviously end up with a nice front and backyard). Everything honestly turned out beautiful, and I’m glad we ended up planning it the way we did.

The day after we had everyone over for an after wedding gathering with good food and drinks. It was nice to continue the celebration as newlyweds! The following Tuesday we left to our honeymoon in Cabo and that was absolutely amazing in every way! Enjoy some pictures from our trip below! ❤️
I can’t believe it’s almost our one year anniversary! Time flies when you’re having fun! I’ll just say I’ve enjoyed being a MRS. to my MR. and wouldn’t have it any other way! 😊
